I'll have the polished ones back on in a couple weeks, didn't want the salt destroying them. The roads here are usually white with salt, but this was the mildest winter I've ever seen. I miss my Duratrac's, too.
I think it depends on the colors and dress out of the Jeep. Some Jeeps wear black rims well and really look better in black on black. Others look horrible, like they lost their hub caps on the Cross Bronx Expressway near Jerome Avenue.
On the other hand, some Jeeps were born to wear the chrome; even EWWs on chrome wheels with chrome caps. This beauty could even pull off wearing chrome spoke wire wheels without anyone getting up in arms about the "shiny".
IMO it depends on the color of the Jeep. I think Black rims look good on just about anything. Where Chrome and Polished only look good on select colors. I have a blue Jeep with polished aluminum rims and I think it looks great, but I want to put a set of matte black rims like these on my rig.
To me it looks meaner. In the end it's all about what you want for you and your rig. :thumb:
Something just tells me that anything other than white would look weird on that beauty!
