Body lift

After my last jeep had 7 inches of lift and 35's, my new one seems so low to the ground. How hard is it to install a 1" body lift? I would prefer to do it myself and not spend 3x as much on labor.

^^ x2

Super easy. With 2 guys and some PB Blaster it could be done in about an hour or 2. That is with things soaking in PB Blaster overnight.

I had purchased a 1" for my YJ. Never installed it as it required cutting shifter handles and adding a section. Not as simple as others have indicated. i.e. not just a bolt up operation.

Required??? I just did one not too long ago for a friend. We didn't need that shifter crap at all. It shifts just fine without it. If I remember correctly we did have to make a small slit in the shifter boot for the t-case shifter but that is it.
