Brake Question

I have a question for everyone. I have a 95 YJ and I'm having problems with the E brake. It is hard for me to get it to release. What could cause this? Any help would be great!!!!

Mechanism could be rusty or a kink in the cable. ????

There was a recall on the emergency brake several years ago. Did you get in on that?

I just got my Jeep a couple of weeks ago. I didn't know there was a recall. I'll have to check in on that. Thanks.

Silicone spray on any area of the cables you can get to. If you disconnect any cable spray it in tip the cable. Also the mechanism in the cab and under the drums needs to be checked and lubed as required.

Thanks for all the help. I got the breaks working with a little WD40 in the cables.
