Riding with the doors off, try floating the gears, if you can get good at that then you will only use the clutch when at a stop... I love the manual, looking at getting a manual throttle cable so I can set an rpm while on the trails...

Overall though get what you are comfortable driving with.

My first two cars were manual. My ankle was shattered in Afghanistan so manuals now cause me some problems if I get stuck in traffic or long drives. Secretly though I have learned to love autos *sshhh* and if my buddy's give me crap I have a valid reason haha. But all in all its up to you, If your budds give you crap tell there not the ones driving it.

Hopefully you have it on file at the V.A.
I heard they have a car modification program, to modify cars of verterians so they can drive them. That may swap a manual to an auto for you if you already have the manual.
