Camara/iphone compatible

Im looking for a camera to mount under my jeep to help diagnose problems.

- has to be compatible with iPhone (vids transferred/playback)
- inexpensive (no more then $200)

I'm not to sure if the Gopro is compatible with the iPhone. I see you can setup the shot using the app but transferring the video for playback ??
This would have to be a older version. $300-$400 is way out of my price range.

I found this and watched a few vids on YouTube. The quality did not really impress me but might be good enough for what I need to do.

Any help is appreciated

How about the Sony Action Cam? $238 shipped. Not sure if you would need to buy accessories for mounting.
