Camo Body Wraps

Hi,

Anyone have any experience with the camo body wraps? Or any type of body wrap?

I've been thinking of adding the camo grass accent between the wheel wells. Shown here. I was thinking of the Avery Killer Weed pattern against my red rock paint would be a good look.

My brother does signs with the same type of vinyl and swears by the product, but his stuff is marketed as permanent. All the camo wraps I've seen are listed as removable. That's why I'm asking about any experiences.

No experience here . . . but frankly I don't get it and if I saw that truck they have on the home page of that website, I'd be tempted to point and laugh . . . dude, come on, that looks goofy as hell. Then I saw the price tag and I was really left scratching my head as to what the hell you are thinking . . . Yeah I'm an asshole, you'll get over it!!! For that price tag you could buy some real rockers, that would provide you some real protection, not a sticker that might cover up mild scracthes, but won't add any real protection to the rocker. And real rockers will look way better than this hillbilly deluxe nonsense!

2 things to think about.

1. Any trail rash will rip it and then it will all have to be replaced.
2. Your Paint is going to fade except where you have the vinyl placed.

okay I lied

3. Temporary vinyl will collect dust and debris at the edges and will start curling.

My ex was a sign man who did vehicle wraps for a living. I have a little (too much) knowledge about the product.

Hah! My nic on most other forums is Asshole, and I don't worry about other assholes.

I wouldn't have asked here if I were worried tough answers. The price of what I was looking at was $95.00, not a great deal of money.
