Most useful tool I have for camping is a max ax. It comes with attachments to rake the ground clear, a shovel to dig a nice fire pit and the ax is lightweight enough for me to use. Has come in handy on many trail rides and does not take up a lot of room.

-1.5 litres of white gas in three half litre bottles
-Kelty 35* bag

-1 1 gallon pot
-Black Diamond lighthouse tent
-1 pair underwear
-4 pair socks
-1 pair shorts

I almost called it a philby but I wasn't sure if anyone would know what a frisby became when you put holes in it.

I got to go twice!

No. I wish I had. Every one told me I would regret not getting it. I made Star, then became a Venture. I was in it for the adventure more then the education, I didn't find a real direction in life until about 2 years ago

Looks like the concepts rubbed off on you..... I made it to life before I quit.

I was a Scout Master and Venture Advisor for many years.

I'll be a boyscout for the rest of my life.
They pay me to do it now (Paramedic = glorified boy scout with a drug box)

He's been driving an ambulance for two years. School requires 2000 hours EMT work before starting. Its a year long program, 6 months in class and 6 months clinical/internship. He is currently working on an ALS rig.
