Can i put my tj in 4wd without linkage? HELP

Theres a party tonight with a mud bog and i havent bought my novak yet. Can i switch to 4wd by hand ? Plz help 02 tj

Yes you can put it in by hand, so long as your hand can fit under to push the shift lever on the transfer case

Shouldn't have any problems. I had to do that once and it worked the whole day.

My buddy had to do that with his TJ too....however he did have it pop out once...
that will be a lot of fun to install the new shifter if you get a crap ton of mud up there....have fun!
