Can you tint your soft windows?

I recently picked up a set of full soft doors and the windows are clear, and my rear windows on the rampage soft top are tinted. Just looking to make them match (or close to it). I know that using the tint film is out of the question, but didnt see where anyone has actually used the spray on stuff like nite shade or the tint for headlights on them. I did a search and came up with a few really OLD posts with people saying they were going to do it but never posted wether they actually did it or if it worked or not. Just wondering if there is a way that anyone has tested that works.

Idk that spray would work. It will flake off when they flex I'm afraid....

thought so too... just wondering if anyone had real world experience with it tho. Also thought maybe a light coat of dye... im afraid to start testing things and screw up my new doors lol. Guess it might just have to stay clear for now.

No you can't. Not unless you spray them. I had a soft top with clear windows and went to my local tint shop, who did my hardtop windows, and he said no.

Don't use the spray for the tail lights. You will have to put on several coats to make it dark, and by the time you're done, they are black and you cant see through it.

Years ago, someone made half door soft uppers with tinted plastic windows Not sure if it was a mistake batch or a limited test batch. Some on here had pics of them. Just keep searching obscure places for them used, you might get lucky.
