Cant get my doors off

I'm having trouble getting my passenger side door off. The driver side came off with no problem but the passenger side won't budge. I've used pb blaster and bought a jack but it started to lift the whole jeep so I stopped. What else can I do?

Try swinging the door back and forth slowly as you lift. using your leg to kinda push up in the center too, and just work at it. It should start to budge little by little. If it doesn't move with the jack right away never keep going, because if it breaks free with all that tension built up it will going flying.

let the pb blaster penetrate...give it a couple hours. try wd-40 as well. Let it soak and when pulling, swing the door. Be careful though, because when it comes off, it will come flying. When it's finally off,,,sand and pb blast the door so when you put them back in it wont give you the same hassle.

For mine I used a 2x4 and the jack and as soon as there was ample amount of tension I held the board with one hand and moved the door back and forth slowly with the other, increased tension a little and rinse/repeat as needed until the door pops off. My Jeep raised up a couple of inches I would say before the door finally came free, it didn't want to leave its home!

This is good to know. Hubby and I went topless last weekend, and we contemplated taking off doors, but wasn't really sure how to go about it.

If you want it off and want it off now. It'll take 2 people. Put a 2x4 along the bottom of the door and lift with a jack. Then have someone hold the door and someone else jump on the tub. It'll pop right out.
