Exclamation Can't put it in gear or change gear

I have a 1989 JEEP Lerado 4.2. I have been driving it for the last couple days and every day I drove it I could fell chaging gears getting a little harder every time> this morning I can't put it in gear at all. Is there anything I can do to fix that or I should take it to a mecanics?

I'd check the Clutch linkage or Cable..... Sounds like it needs to be adjusted or repaired.
Have a "friend" look underneath while you push the clutch pedal, see if the linkage or cable is moving...
NOTE: ENGINE OFF and SET the Hand BRAKE !! "BH"

If your Jeep has a Hydraulic Clutch.... There will be two resiviors mounted on the firewall under the hood... One is Brakes, the other (smaller one) is CLUTCH...
Check the fluid level....It requires Brake fluid. If it's low or empty ,refill it, push the pedal slowly a few times and look for any drips or leaks on the lines or hoses....Or if the Slave cylinder (mounted on the bellhousing or engine block) is wet or leaking, it needs to be changed. The Slave cylinder pushes against the clutch Throwout bearing arm....Some are also internal, inside the bell housing .
These are available at any Auto Parts store.... "BH"
