Does anyone ever take their softop jeeps through the car wash. I wanna take mine through but not sure if the soft tops can handle the "beating".
I dont mind washing the jeep but after I wash all the mud and crud off, I would like to run it through the hot water and soap and also get the chassis wash.

I ran my Jeep through the car wash a couple of times and the soft top held up fine.

I ran mine through once but I'm scared about doing it again... the end of my super wash has really powerful dryers and they were bubbling my top inwards while I tried to hole it up. Everythings fine, I'm just scared

It will be okay if you use a brushless wash. The brushes on these gas station wash booths will scratch your windows up pretty bad. For cleaning underneath put a lawn sprinkler under it and let it run for 15-30 minutes. (trick learned here on the forum.)

Redneck carwash: Won't even have to get the top wet if it worries ya.

Yea I usually use the sprinkler method JD, I was thinking the carwash may be a little higher pressure though. We'll see. I may give it a try at one of the brushless washes.
Or I could just try the redneck wash..lol

Well, if you're mostly interested in getting the undercarriage washed:

↑ I dont think that water will touch your undercarriage with a 6inch lift and 35s.
