CB Radios

Where did you guys put your radio and antanna on your wrangelers so they arent in the way...Gettin ready to put my radio in and wanted the antanna in a good spot not to beat on the body and the radio in a good out of the way place i was thinking the back of the center consoul and the antanna build a bracket off the passager rear bumper? pics would be cool and just how and were you put yours

this is the closest picture i could find to where i mounted my radio...except mine is on the opposite side, by the 4wd selector.


also not my jeep lol, but my antenna is mounted like this, on the spare tire carrier

My jeep had some brackets to move the mirrors that I would never use. So I chopped it up and used it as a bracket. I like the antenna there because I can reach out and pull it down if there are trees in the way that might take it out.

My CB hangs on the dash. There are 2 screws holding the panel on under the steering wheel. I removed the screw on the right and used it to hold the mic holder. I use the Cobra 78 WXST so there isn't anything else to really worry about.

I put my Cobra 29LTD BT over my rearview mirror, cause thats the most viewable/reachable/tuneable/accessable spot in the cab, other than in the instrument section of the dash and my wife uses the BT !!

I put the antenna on top of the third lite stalk--4' firestix

thanks a ton guys yea i think ill do the above the spare deal the radio is still in the air i want it out of the way of feet but not hard to reach my rig doesnt have the over head storage so might have to build/buy something, keep em coming thanks a ton

Bought this Bracket that connects to the ring on the windshield and connects to the soundbar with thick zip ties, and have the attenna behind the spare tire..
