Other than standing in front of the explosion, pretty much standard operating procedure...

Yea normally I would use a match and toss it at the edge of the tire. But that is normal he might of used a little to much fluid but more fluid it is more fun lol

x's 3. I've seen it done before but with more caution and brains involved.

He is spraying starter fluid inside the tire, lighting it off, and the resulting ignition of the fluid creates expansion thus blasting the bead onto the rim.

Much like what is going on inside the combustion chamber of an engine.

Anyone know about what kind of pressure this puts into a tire?

If it was over say 160 psi, then it really could be dangerous in that the tire could come apart. If it's under like 80, then the only risks are pinching a finger or loosing your eyebrows for a few weeks.

Done this on ATV and tractor tires. It works better when you use a torch.

Goes to like 60 psi max is what I have seen on bigger tires. Pull the valve steam and then get back to wheeling.

yes it will but it might take a few tries. Starter fluid is the best.
