For many drivers.. (especially Our Jeep Family) the CJ models are to cramped at the knees.. also one really needs to find out from their state they live in what are the restrictions and codes for this model year.. What I'm getting at, is that Maryland have a stiff emissions law.. and when we took our 99 to have it tested.. this one Jeep (older CJ) was there for more then 3 hours.. and had been there 3 times before.. and failed every time.. I know cause the guy leaned out of his window and told me.. I have no clue what he needed to do to correct his issues..

Not really sure what you are getting at in your post in responce to the first post. Just thought someone would be interested in a rare model of cj. Idaho does not have any emmisions testing for the most part btw.

Wish I were closer. I love the CJ-6, and they are not very common. I have a neighbor with one, but he won't sell it to me! That said, I haven't even finished my CJ-5 project yet, so I guess I don't need another one just now!

Nice! Wish I had the cash and a place to keep it. Still has the original under seat fuel tank.
