Question Cleanup after mudding (jk)

When you get mud into the engine compartment after mudding, how should you clean it up? I am guessing you probably can't just hose it down but I just don't know.

i use a pressure washer, just dont get up close to anything, keep your distance, i have been doing this for years with out any issues

How many psi is your pressure washer? I don't want to use one too powerful and hurt my jeep.
