Of course, I work in marketing at a company that makes padded armrests for JKs. I would never suggest that my job is important in any large scale way. You have an important job. I know the difference.

So, when I occasionally get to go do something fun....

This is Radical Hill, Webster Pass, Saints John Trail: it's a bunch of connected trails in between Keystone and Breckenridge. TrailDamage.com page.

Oh man! I went to Colorado round the end of this August. Went to Rocky Mountain National Park, took my Uncle's Jeep. We had heard that there were actually 4x4 trails up into the mountains in the park, but we didn't ask or anything. Just wondering if anyone knew anything about these trails. do they actually exist? because if so, I am totally takin my Wrangler next time!

There are no real off road trails in the park, or even in the mountains right nearby. There are some absolutely beautiful roads (I was there last weekend in my Honda).

The closest off roading is Pole Hill, just the other side of Estes Park. There are some nice trails in between Estes and the front range, like Pierson Park.

And further south from Rocky Mountain there are some great places.

Great video! Thanks for sharing. Hey watching that video, I didn't see the Bestop yellow B in the back window. Is that a Rugged Ridge top?

Geoff I am dead serious about making a trip out there. I want to drive up that mountain! I googled it and it's about 1700 miles. When would be the best time of year? I'm thinking June or July. What would the weather be like that time of year?

It's 12-13,000 feet. June is WAY to early. End of July is usually safe. August and September are great.

There are LOTS of trails in Colorado like this. Black Bear Pass down south, Mosquito Pass in Leadville. Jim in South Park - who posted up above - lives in the middle of a whole lot of great trails.

I like this trail (Radical Hill, etc.) because the views are spectacular, the roads are interesting, slightly scary in spots, but not a lot of huge rocks and what not. Although we had trouble getting around a big rock in one spot.

Call me when you get to Colorado!

We did the really tight switchbacks twice: once so he could film us going up from below, once so he could film looking down.

It's a fun spot: it's pretty narrow, and it's off camber, so you lean out over the drop. That always gets your palms a bit damp.

There's a wedge shaped rock that you can drive around, but on the way back down the hill I rushed, and didn't get my back tire to the side of the rock - I drove right up on it, and in the wet, the back of my Jeep slid about a foot or two sideways. Normally not even worth noticing, but man, with that drop on a narrow trail, you notice it.

I'm kinda glad he was filming from far away, because I've already done enough for the blooper reel.
