Combatting the death wobble - Part 2

So yesterday I made a post about my first experience with the death wobble and what I was told, buy 3 diff people, that I needed to do to fix it. I had mentioned that it was the steering stabilizer. Thank you all for your input about it likely not being the stabilizer but in actuality the track bar. I consulted my invioce to see what all i got and here's what it is

1. Sky jacker wrangler steering stabilizer

2. Energy suspntrk arm bsh/cher

the dude at the shop came out and checked out my jeep and siad that while it wasnt a badf idea to replace the steering atabilizer, I should also get that 2. item on the invoice.

is that second item the part needed to repair any issues with the track bar??

confused....

J

What is item #2? Do you have a pic of it?

Can't tell if that is just a bushing or what.

The top pic is of the Sway Bar bushings and the second pic looks like a bushing kit for a bronco.

I would definitely check everything for proper torque.

Yes if they told you that you need a Trac Bar bushing then by all means have them replace it. Problem is that when that bushing goes bad or the bolt is loose then when you hit bumps etc. it allows your axle to shimmy and then the forces of the vehicle take over and walla death wobble.
