Company Vehicle vs. Jeep

How many of you Jeepers find yourself driving your company vehicle all week long wishing you were driving your Jeep?

Every mile in my company vehicle is agony, not that it is a bad vehicle, it just isn't my Jeep!

I'm like a little kid at Christmas every day when I get home or on the weekends because I can drive the Jeep.

I don't have a company vehicle, but I totally relate to what your saying. I would feel the same as you. I've had my Jeep for over a year and still sometimes look into the garage just to see my Jeep before I go to bed. Pathetic

Yes, I drive a Lexus GX460 for work so it's not a bad vehicle - not an agonizing experience. But, it is so boring compared to my Jeep.

I'd much rather drive my commuter vehicle during the week. Last time I drove my TJ to work I tore a $1500 suit because it snagged on the door striker. There went my Detroit locker and new wheels.

Every day. Have a company provided truck that goes home. Spend all day looking forward to getting in my Jeep and weekends can't come fast enough. We even drive the Jeep way more than the Wife's Saturn Outlook.

In the winter that thought crosses my mind daily. Our work vehicles are atrocious in the snow. But I'd never put my Jeep through the mileage, gas cost and wear and tear that I don't have to worry about with the company vehicle.

Does feel great getting back into the Jeep after driving the war wagon all day.

I cant wait to drive the Jeep, I find myself looking for an excuse every night. I'm usually quick to run errands for my wife, and it always takes twice as long as it should!
I wouldn't want to lose the company car though. It would suck putting all those highway miles on my Rubicon....burning up those tires.

I have done it on more than one occasion. I drive a Ford Transit all day. When it snows I really miss my jeep.

If I don't need to carry much with me, I am able to drive my Jeep from Denver to Aspen for work. Most trips I am able to take the scenic routes over several old mining roads. That's one of the reasons I bought it.

I drive 45,000 a year in the company truck hitting many jobsites. I wish I could drive the Jeep more. The '09 Tundra 5.7 4X4 is a nice ride though.
One benefit is I only have 1400 miles on my Jeep I got in June.

Ha! The looks I get from Jeepers when I wave from my Equinox It's habit already.

I drive for work A LOT! I am glad to drive the company vehicle because it's their gas and wear and tear. I would rather save the miles I put on my Jeep for fun miles of MY choosing. So it waits patiently through the week until the evenings and weekends.

I've only had my jeep a little over a week, but already I am anxious for tonight to get here as I have places to go and things to do in the JEEP!
