Concern about new E locker

I got my gears & rear Eaton E locker installed & plan on trying it out very soon.My concern is its possible that some way, some how the switch could mistakingly get pushed when Im on road & the locker could be activated at a higher speed that it should & cause damage.Im thinking of installing a seperate switch on the 12v power wire since its ran on the interior, then exits the rear of the Jeep so that I would flip that switch when Im wheeling & leave it on my entire trip & use the regular switch for normal activation then flip the additional switch back when Im done.Anyone ever thought about or done this?

Ive had annoying, curious buddies push first and ask later while driving. But that was only for a second. The only damage it cause (that i know of), is it caused me to get a little pissed off. It still works after a couple incidents like that, but i would recommend putting it where it can easily be pushed, and make sure you tell your buddies what it is, so they wont push it.

I think if they do that they will be ex buddies. Most of my concern is the accidental button push.
