I spent today installing a Lange hoist for my 2 door JK hard top. I haven't yet hoisted the actual hard top. I hung 250 pounds from the hoist for awhile. But that one eye screw holding everything up for the several months makes me nervous. Should I be nervous? I was thinking about putting another 4 eye screws up in the ceiling and then making a sort of sling with straps to secure it. So, I would use the hoist to elevate it, and then further support it with the "sling" to take the pressure off that one eye screw. Is this totally unnecessary or is it a good idea? Thanks y'all.
