Cons to bedlining the interior?

Bedliner, monstaliner, Line-x, whatever......

For those of you that have done the interior tub/floor, what was the outcome?

I've had some people say the floor gets hotter, especially in summer. And others have talked about it being louder. Is any of this true? Any other cons to doing this?

Am thinking about doing it this summer so am looking for some feedback.

thanks

The items you listed are true. How much it effects you will vary. Just think about this. The carpet was the sound/heat insulation. You can always put it back down and take it up to go off roading. You can also pull your carpets now and find out.

My personal opinion the carpet isn't much of an insulator and I didn't notice a difference. Or let's say, a difference that made me regret my decision.

If your going to don't try to go the cheap route. The PO put some cheap stuff down and it's flaking off.
