Hey everyone, here's my predicament.
I bought a '92 YJ about 2 years ago, but it just wasn't working for me. Not enough storage, super rough ride, I've had whiplash twice in wrecks so the short wheelbase is a killer for me, etc.
A couple months ago I purchased a 2008 JKU thinking this would solve all my problems. I REALLY want to like it, but I just don't. It just feels too big and unruly, there's so much going on compared to the YJ with electronics and aesthetics, just don't feel like I'm driving a jeep anymore.
So the question is, would an LJ be the perfect mix of the two? Longer wheel base for a better ride and more storage space, but not so big that I feel like I'm driving a hummer? And relatively stripped down compared to the JKU?
Any and all advice is welcomed. LJ's are NOT cheap so I want to make sure I'm making the right decision this time.
Consequently, my JKU is now for sale if anyone is interested. 2008 6-speed, asking $18,000.
Thanks!
