Coolant on my jk !?? Please please help

So I notice that my coolant level is below minimum and after a freeway run I can feel the hot air from the engine, but I don't have any check engine ligths. Is this normal? So tomorrow I will ad antifreeze to it.

Do I need any 50/50 or do I need a special type?
And can I just add more in the reservoir ? Please help

Sorry for my broken and hard to understand English

2013s use a new and differently formulated OAT coolant
2007-1012s JKs use a HOAT coolant
Buy the 50/50 premixed antifreeze. Add coolant between the hot & cold marks on the reservoir bottle

Take a look at this link. It will tell you what you need to know,

Chrysler switches to OAT antifreeze for longer service interval

Cool thanks. But when I took my car to the mechanic to replace water pump, they add regular coolant, do now I want to add more hoat coolant to the reservoir, but I don't know if it is gonna be ok mixing different Cain of coolant? Or do I have to flush it?

Regular coolant can be no favor. As you can see from the article, adding even a small amount of regular coolant defeats the long term properties of the HOAT and OAT. If it was me I would flush it and fill with the Jeep recommended coolant for your year Jeep if the mechanic added something incompatible. Your call.

Check with your local Jeep dealer to find out what coolant you have for your year Jeep and whether what the mechanic added is incompatible with it or reduces effectiveness.

Pice of cake.
