COP MAGNET? How many times have you been pulled over ?

I have been pulled over once...offroad, by the rangers. It was late at night and they were just making sure I wasnt out drinking and driving around because there was a big desert night race during the time they pulled me over. They were cool guys though. Thats the only time I was pulled over in my jeep.

I got pulled over in Canada for using a radar detector. I didn't know they were illegal so they confiscated it and let us go.

I've had my tj for a little over a year now, and have never been pulled over. Although, with a 4 banger speeding isn't really a big concern

Ive been pulled over 4 times and ive only owned my jeep for a little over a year.

1. Tires sticking out past fenders
2. Dead inspection
3. Rolling through a stop sign. (BS)
4. Speeding (69 in a 55)

Once, turning right on red without coming to a complete stop (kind of a weird intersection, so I just got a warning). I don't go fast enough to get pulled for speeding in the LJ. Never got pulled over in my XJ, which is miraculous considering I drove it like an ass (as all teenagers do).

None for traffic violations in the JK. Twice for "random" vehicle searches as I was leaving the base.

But, I did get 3 tickets in 3 states in 1 day in my old Camaro years ago.

My wife got her license suspended for too many speeding tickets in her Camaro. Now we dont have to worry about speeding in the Jeep lol. But we got the "Support Local Law Enforcement" plates just incase I get into trouble for wheeling where I shouldnt be.

This this this.
I don't break the law. There isn't a point in doing so. Also, know where the cops are

I flipped a u-turn in the medium once just before he was going to light me up and he thought I was running from him. I made it through, but he got stuck. Once I put 2 and 2 together, I flipped another u-turn and pulled him out of the mud. I got a warning ticket for the u-turn and a ticket for littering. I threw the warning ticket in the medium.

I got pulled over for speeding once. 113 in a 65 but I was let go because I bought 4 guns from the cop over the past few years and he decided that a good customer needs special treatment. That was top speed in a stock Wrangler, at least for me. (I had to know!)

They leave wranglers alone around here. Well I got pulled over for suspicion of mischief.... I dropped the gf off at her car and then took off he apparently wanted to know what I was doing in the parkinglot....lol got the 3rd degree from him for about 20 minutes.

And when we bought the wifeys commander it still had paper plates so we got pulled over and interviewed seperately to see if we stole the commander. After 30minutes he checked the paperwork and sent us on our way.

I've only been pulled over once in my life for having a "It's a Jeep thing" sticker across the top of my windshield years ago. Apparently that trooper "didn't understand" lol! I had it on a static sticker (cause I knew it was illegal) so I simply peeled it off from the inside on the spot. He looked disappointed and let me go.

I was tearing down a back-road, 2am, 65 in a 30, country music blasting, in the middle of the road, no mirrors on doors and top off, leg hanging out the door, some ass is tailing me for the 3 miles stretch, turn into my street look in the rear view and see it's a cop, didn't pull me over for whatever reason. So I should have been pulled over once.

I've dodged being pulled over in the Jeep *knock on wood*, but I've been pulled over at least 20 times that I can remember off hand. I'm sure I'm forgetting a few though.

Drove past a cop car in the oncoming lane last week. I had to plates on front or rear, and the permit that was supposed to be taped to my windshield was in my glove box. He didn't even look twice at me. Then same thing another time when my jeep died on me in front of the police station. They never looked twice at me even as cops were coming and going.

Got pulled over a few weeks ago for speeding (57 in a 35), topless, doorless, and my leg hanging out the side. He told me he liked my jeep and to put my leg back inside lol, just a verbal warning!

never in the XJ, probably because anything over 65 mph was a nightmare..... Once in the TJ coming onto base..... apparently its against AFI to run around on base with no doors and no top...... I informed the newly graduated Security Forces that he better get the other 10 jeeps on base and the convertibles and drove away.......

Yeah, many states require tires to be covered. Some just inforce it more then others. lol I couldnt pass inspection till it was done either.

Well, I'm a cop and don't mess with Jeeps. Most of the time in my TJ I just stick in the right lane and set my cruise on the highway.

Haven't gotten pulled over yet, but one day running up a road known for Tenn. State Troopers at 60 in a 55 we had a mini-van glued to the bumper for about 5 miles. Now we have been burned here before in a different vehicle so no way do we go any faster. At the first opportunity to pass the mini-van blows by us and up the road. About 3 miles later, after the road goes to 4 lanes & 65 limit we passed her pulled over by a Trooper. I know I shouldn't take pleasure in others' misfortunes but I LMAO.

Nothing so far (knock on wood), and I have at least 3 different things illegal about the YJ right now. Especially ironic is that neither the YJ or my Honda is running a front plate, but I've never even been given a second look by a cop in the YJ, while I've been pulled over twice in the Honda for it.
