Im trying to pull out the CCV hose from the valve cover but for some reason it is not coming out it spins and has a little play to it but there is a solid lock to it when I pull it up... all my other cars this was very easy to replace is there a way to remove this with wranglers?

Here is a pic it http://i40.tinypic.com/14xmoph.jpg

Oh ok thanks, but it seems like its locked good when I pull it up doesnt seem to be going anywhere I guess I need to pull harder on it... but if the flange breaks is there a risk of it falling in?

That thing is a nightmare.. so I sprayed some lube and then tried to remove it the plastic elbow snapped on me now there is barely anything to grab onto I tried to pry around it but i dont want to demage the rubber grommet... I would take it to a shop but the vehicle is not insured yet so I can't drive it.. well just letting you guys know where I was at "stuck" lol

Im replacing it because there was a crack in the elbow and plus I believe its clogged I couldnt get it out I think its easier to pry out the rubber grommet on the valve cover would that get it out? and could I get a replacement that?

So I took the grommit and The elbow out thinking there would just be a deep whole into the valve cover but the whole is just an inch deep with like a ramp at the botton of it.. there might have an opening at the botton of the ramp which I havent checked for yet because its too dirty can't see anything... and I didnt find any Orifice like the manual says..all I got was the elbow attached to the grommit thats all. I thought that would be an Orifice that im supposed to clean with a paperclip..

So the ramp is just to keep things from falling in at the top there is a hole for the air to go in ... It was filthy in there now I can see whats going on got a bunch of crap out, so now hopefully there will be a suction when I put everything back together... I was just wondering why mine didnt have an orifice maybe its just for 4.0L engines
