Creative kill switches...

I've been doing a lot of research on line, I've asked Jerry Bransford (WWJD) and collected materials and I am ready to try to make tiny's rig a little harder to steal.

But for those out there that would like to take a more creative route, I found this cool link that outlines a few interesting takes on kill switch applications using relays.

I'm not telling anyone how I'm rigging tiny's Jeep. I have just taken the route that makes it frustrating for the "common" crook to take the Jeep.

But, I know all to well that if they want it bad enough, it's gone and there's not a damn thing I can do about it aside from precautions.

Agreed. And trust me. If it were legal to kill people, I'd be all over it and none of you could keep up with my body count.

I knew a guy on a local forum that used some bosch relays that shipped with new BMW cars to totally disconnect the electrical systems so the batteries wouldn't drain during shipping. They worked really well the way he was installing them. But I'm sure you're doing it pretty much the same way Cain.

I used to have to park in a dangerous inner city area for work. Result: my jeep was broken into 17 times. I left it unlocked and so never had the windows cut. Once I found an exacto knife on the floor!!!!!!! he must have been planning to cut the windows and then saw the doors unlocked and didn't (thank gosh!).
The security guard at my work showed me how to just take off the ignition wire and carry it to work each day. Never got stolen.
On my new jeep, I spent the 800 bucks and got a lojack.
Lotta money but gives piece of mind.
