Custom made grab handles

Today I've decided to make my own grab handles. Not that I don't like the ready to use one but I don't like to do like other does !

So here is the result. Don't know if they will stay for long but I kinda like them. It's also very easy to remove. The nodes are Noeud de longe - Lesnoeuds.com and the rest are climbing snap hook.

The only thing now is to hide the nodes.

Id worry about getting hit in the head or chipping the window... Especially in bumpy areas.

have you considered 550 cord braided to create handles? That's what I did with mine.

My first post. Sorry I couldn't figure out how to post the pictures like margouilla was. Theres like 4 pictures of my Jeep under that link and 2 of the custom handles me and my Dad made a few months ago. They work out pretty good.

How did you make those Pelech? Don't know what those end loop things are called. No bumping og your head on that end screw/bolt head? Looks simple and nice!

My Dad said they are called something like Husky sinches. They are made by Husky and I think they were about 5 bucks at Home Depot. Then he put a 3/8 bolt through and then the nut on one side. Also under the black pipe we put over the bolt, we put 5 more nuts under there so the piping didn't slide around on the bolt. Anyone more questions please ask.
