Good luck.

I won't contribute.

There is no accounting for taste.

Who would do such a thing? I guess the intervention was a little too late.

id buy that. all you gota do is move the air horns to the underside of the hood, tuck the side pipes up next to the frame and out of the way. trim down the fender flares, and paint some if not all of the chrome. would be a nice little YJ then.

I hope the guy plans on being buried in that atrocity. There's NO way anyone's going to buy it from him.......I'm a Jeep lover, but I wouldn't walk across the street to piss that thing out if it was on fire......

Would you park that thing in YOUR driveway?

Different strokes for different folks, I guess. I would have to get a HELLUVA deal on that "Jeep" before I'd consider parking it on my driveway. I have more respect for my current Jeep than to park this little bastard of a Jeep next to it.......

think about it this way. there is lots of potential there. the things that people consider wrong with it, can all be fixed with either a can of spray paint, or a sawzaw.

Too much time and cash and too little taste.
That might be as bad as the Black JK with
the 24" rims someone posted awhile back.

I'm all about the potential of a vehicle. It's just that to get that rig to my particular likes would cost WAY more than it would ever be worth. I'd have to swap out the front end from a YJ to a TJ front end. I'd have to swap out the entire frame/suspension/drivetrain to a TJ frame/suspension/drivetrain. I'd have to swap out the YJ interior to that of a TJ interior, same with the rollcage. Get where I'm going with this?

It would take a bit of work to rid that Jeep of its ugliness, and then you'd still be left with a stock YJ. No thanks. It might be different if the previous owner lifted it, axled it, and it had some decent meat underneath it. As it is, it's like the ugly duckling that never entered puberty.....

Clearly you don't know me well.. I have a gator head that go's on my jeep hood, so horns and chrome ain't no big deal. Its a dam clean yj from the pic, and I will guess there is a v8 under the hood. Has a hard top and full doors. Bigger fenders for the tires I would add. All and all get past the little stuff not such a bad jeep.

From the ad? Its a stock 4 banger.

And the owner wants something like 11 000 USD for it.

Lol..................like I said, I hope the owner plans on being buried in that atrocity. He's never going to be able to sell it.

So, in the end, shouldn't we all have listened to Cavey?

Slap a set of RENEGADE flares on it and it'd be sweeeeeeeeeeeet.

Oh, and I'd make those pipes into vertical stacks by the windshield!
