New Daily Driver

Due to the high price of gas, i had to find a new way to get to work. Isn't she a beauty? Fantastic mileage.

Yup. 18,000 miles in the 11 months I've had it, and I still enjoy every minute of it. I must admit the gas is killing me, though. May have to start looking for a cheap econo-beater before long if they keep talkin $4 a gallon gas.

DD to the tune of 2 lifted jeeps, TJ and ZJ. My wife and I try to ride to work together whenever possible, but still spent over $400 on gas in January.

I agree with that, also when I shut my door and chunks of mud and crap go flying into their freshly waxed BMW or Mercades.

Make my kid drive the Chevy Suburban to school daily and I drive the Jeep so that I get "better mpg". Wouldn't have it any other way

I drive my big truck five days a week (600 miles per day)
and my Jeep two days a week (100 miles per day). Anything
smaller wouldn't be safe with all the crazy drivers out there!

Yes, especially because to fill a Jeep 100% is only about $8-$9 here. It's much better than my former Hyundai Accent for a daily commute, just a little slower which is fine. It's quiet enough and not any rougher than any other car on our horrible roads. I find it totally comfortable and all anti-DD propaganda is wrong, except as to fuel costs in Western countries.

I'm lucky. I walk across the street to go to work.

I really only drive (my vehicle) on weekends, holidays and vacation.

Yeah, I drive my company van all week and only drive my jeep on the weekends or if I need to run out in the weekends! Kinda sucks but it keeps it exciting when I drive my jeep!
