Demand for used Jeeps by season?

I am in the market for a Jeep, but I am in no hurrry. I am wondering if the demand tends to go up or down during the winter? It could be geographically related, if so I am in the desert SW, which might make a difference.

So, anyone notice increase or decrease in demand based on time of year?

Look on Ebay and Craigslist. There's a "pant" load for sale out there bro.

I know here in NC, there always tends to be a bigger selection as we approach winter, and the prices are better then. The spring is the worst time to find one and if you DO, you will pay more for it then.

Just my experience in my neck of the woods....

True, true, but in my area many of them seem to think they are made of gold or that mods are worth double the price. It does get cold here, so I am thinking that a better deal may be made in a few weeks.

Yeah, when the kids who thought Jeeps were "cool" in the summer think they will get cold in the winter, they start ditching them. Kinda think of it like a boat...same experience here. High demand at the beginning of the season, then ditch them to make money for Christmas after the season.
