Did I just find a 1964 Kaiser Willys?

I am looking at a 1964 willys. The vin tag says Kaiser. Toledo Ohio. How do I know if it is a true Kaiser and what would it be worth? It has all the metal replaced.....Looks really good for a 1964. I am wondering what I should give for it? Any ideas from anyone who knows more than I do about this Jeep? Thx for any replies....

Also check out the Early CJ5.net > Forums page. They can tell what it is worth.

And yet I give you!!!! a early 60's Kaiser Left hand drive, removable top 2wd DJ. Mind blown?

That being said, this was picked up for $500 in it's sad state and semi- transformed with a paint job, some maint/engine and some brake lines and brakes, fuel lines.. After "fix-up" it was valued around $1400-2000 if that helps you sir.

Yeah, you can kinda see the front diff in the 1st pic. you posted. Other than that, I'm of absolutely no help. Cool lookin CJ, though - good luck, hope you (or at least someone) can rescue that thing!

Some DJs were 2x4, some were 4x4. Depended on where they lived.

I knew someone who got one in a similar condition for $1000 running okay. He had it for few months and sold it for $800 not quite running.
