Did that come with doors?

I live in DC and have had my 2012 JKU for about 3 months now. The weather here has been amazing and have had the hard top off since I brought it home. I take the doors off all the time and without fail at a stop light or while in traffic someone always asks me if it came with doors. All told about 15 times now. At first I would say, "yeah I just took them off because it is so nice out", but now I tell them, "yes but it was an add on option for an extra 10 grand and I didn't want to spend the money so I just didn't get them" and drive away with a big smile as they stare back at me in total bewilderment. I know I am not alone on this!

I love your answer. I would definitely be telling people no and let them figure it out later.

Never got that one.

I get "I like the ones where the top comes off better"

This of coarse is while the hard top is on over the winter months

One night late on my way home some local redneck hillbilly yelled at me; " hey where the F is your F'n doors"

I yelled back: " at your moms house, I'm on my way to get them now"

My buddy riding shotgun thought it funny

Too funny.

You could pretend that you hadn't noticed -- and just then realized someone stole them

Haha, freak out and scream, "THEY STOLE MY NEW DOORS!!!"

My grandma asked me "Why in the world would you buy a Jeep, just to take everything off?"
My response "Exactly!"

There was a time when the top and doors were options.
