Diff between a 94 1994 Sahara YJ and a 94 S Sport and the SE

Hi guys. I'm looking to get into my first jeep. I found a few options to buy but dont know the diff between them all.
I have the following options
1994 jeep wrangler Sahara YJ
1994 jeep wrangler S Sport
And a 1994 jeep wrangler SE sport.
The only one that doesnt have a hard top is the SE. And i need a hard top due to kids around my house always wanting to get into your car at night.
So alarm to be added but have to have a hard top.

Can you guys please tell me what the differences are between these?
They are all around the same price. The S sport is the highest price of them all.

I know this post is really old but I bought a YJ not too long ago and am interested in finding out which one I have. I'm looking at purchasing some side plates from warrior but they usually say that it doesn't fit the Sahara. I'm not sure which one I have so I don't know if it will fit on mine or not.

They are just different option packages. Stickers, seats different etc. I think the s had the 4cly. I would say with the side steps on your jeep( the sahara also had those) the plates might not work unless you remove them. What are the side plates you are thinking about buying for or look like.

The full length trim and step you have on the side of the Jeep is what is in the way. You'd have to remove that trim to install the plates or any type of rocker guards.

Im removing all my fender flares and replacing them with the rugged ridge all-terrain fender flares. I need to remove side steps anyway but when I do I think there will be a couple holes where it was drilled into the body (which I would like to cover up) so I was looking at a diamond plate side guard to do that.

Something like this: Warrior Products 908U - Warrior Products Sideplates with Lip for 87-95 Jeep® Wrangler YJ - Quadratec

Only I'm trying to find some that are cheaper than that.

I'd make a template from cardboard and take it to a local sheetmetal shop and have them cut um out forya for less than half that price
