Diff rock siders,no??

I look at my front diff & think ,man that sits low.It takes the brunt of any large rocks. Is a rock slider necessary? has anyone cracked a diff? Ive got one of those lower, hald guards to help with the cover but not the case.

Just get a sturdy aftermarket diff cover and you will be fine. You would have to hit a boulder straight on at 30mph to damage the center pumpkin. I have G2 aluminum diff covers and they work fine [no hardcore rock crawling].

Look into the barnett one. Jerry has posted a pic the diff when the g2 hit a rock, I wasn't pretty. I would also look at the riddler.
