Door problems.

How do I get the inside lights to shut off after I remove the doors?

If your user name is true, then you have a TJ. There is a fuse behind the Glove Compartment. I forget the number but the legend says Door Defeat or Door Erase. Pull it and voilá.

Thanks! And yes I do have a TJ. That worked great. Now just one more thing: is it legal to drive on the road without them. I've heard both answers. I live in MI if that helps.

Either pull the fuse (behind the glove box) or get the c-clips to hold the pin.

Every state is different. It is best to call the local sheriffs department or police department. In Utah we can run no doors but we have to have mirrors. So a lot of people get the mirror relocation brackets.

Ok great thanks. Is there like something I can get at a local drug store or like a bike mirror that'll work?

Websites sell them. I like Quardatec.com The parts are called mirror relocation brackets. You take the mirrors off the doors mount them to the new bracket and then that bracket is mounted on the door hinge plate on the jeep.
