door will not unlock

So I have a 95 yj I've owned for about 6 years, but recently my driver side door (half door) will not unlock either with key or manually, it seems to be stuck, and obviously I can still climb over the door to get in, but just trying to reslve this issue. Can anyone help?

Probably broke a plastic clip that holds the linkage on.. take the interior panel off and look around you will probably see one of the bars hanging down

Finally had the time to pull my door apart to fix it because it wouldn't open, and nothing inside was broken but just dryed up? A little bit of wd40 and taddaaa. Problem fixed.

And since I had the door panels removed, I gave them a new coat of fresh paint.
