Doorless dog seatbelt

For the past couple of years when I have the doors off I just usually attach the seat belt to the dogs harness so she doesn't fall out but I'm wondering what some of you do?

How do you keep pup safe in the jeep while driving with the top and doors off?

Harness, leash attached to roll cage, and doggles (goggles for dogs), for the French Bulldogs.

So far so good but my pup (Lady) likes riding so much she doesn't want get out even when I get back into the garage. Have to tell her to get out, but not to get in--sometimes have to tell her to get out more than once.

If I have the duster cover off the back she rides back there, otherwise she rides in passenger seat by herself-or on someones else's lap she is a 36 lbs English Springer.

Doggles! Lol my father and his girlfriend bought them for their little white thing( no idea what breed) and it was a funny sight to see. He sent me pictures his Boxter s driving with the top down and doggles on the pup. I laughed for quite awhile as my dad supposedly hates this little dog, yet he went out and bought pink doggles for it lol. Better safe then sorry! I usually pull the back seat out and let my white German Shepard have free range in the back.

I was thinking about putting a u bolt in the center of the floor in back seat so I can hook the leash up to It and then u can make the leash how ever long u want so the dog can move around

^ thanks for the Idea I'm going to make one of those out of an old seat belt, and old leash, and some para cord, because that one looks like a POS. two of the reviews said there small dog snapped the swivel.

Yeah there are other options out there, that was the first that popped up with a search. My buddy uses them with his 70lb pitbull and no issues. I dont think his is adjustable though.

Yea it's a good idea I have an old seat belt laying around and I'm going to braid some para cord onto the seat belt latch and attach a clip for the harness I'll post pictures when I get around to making it.

This is a no brainer for me. My dog goes into the back of my Jeep.
My dog is short so he's fine in the back but I would never let him ride next to me with the doors off, seatbelt or not.

I have a loop of 1" climbing strapping that is looped to the top of the roll bar. Carabiner on the other end to her harness. Give the old girl slack to move aroun d but not enough to get over the side.

I have 2 Great Danes that love to go riding in the Jeep. I dont feel comfortable leaving them in the parking lot anywhere without doors but they ride in the back if we go for drives. I think im going to get a cargo restraint net system for when they go wheeling with us.

I have an english bulldog and I put her in a doggie harness and I bought a lap seatbelt and wrapped it around the back of the seat and hooked it through her harness. It works great!
