doors off?

I'm in WA and was wondering what the laws are on the in WA. I've read about having two rear facing mirrors and saw one say having the doors off to begin with is illegal?

I think you answered your own question. "Saw one say having the doors off to being with is illegal"

I would contact the local PD and see what they say. A car that has doors made to come off usually can ride with them off as long as you have your mirrors still. get some that mount to the holes where the doors go. Here is MD, thats how it is anyways.

Gotta have a drivers mirror:

And this kind of seems like a "catch all" about the doors, idk:
http://apps.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=46.37.517

But you can fold down the windscreen and wear a motorcycle helmet:
http://apps.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=46.37.410

Your local municipality may have codes about it, too.

And this guy http://apps.leg.wa.gov/wac/default.aspx?cite=204-10-022 says you have to be able to positively latch the doors and be able to open from inside or outside but doesn't say you have to have em, either.

I believe you could argue (sucessfully) that at the "time of original manufacture" the doors were intended to be removed, and thus do not violate any written law of the State of Washigton. But then again, you wouldn't be glad to win the arguement; that means you were stopped and cited, then had to appear.
