Drill Bit Advice

Hey Guys. I recently stripped the torx bit in my hood hinge trying to install the hood mount for my jack. Next, the screw extractor tip snapped off inside the stripped screw. A titanium drill bit didn't seem to be able to drill through the extractor tip (its high carbon steel). Any advice on what type of bit should be used to drill through the tip of the extractor? Tungsten Carbide? Is it possible with a hand drill? I have a condo, so I don't have a blow torch. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help!

Super glue.

Take a small drill bit or other metal shaft & glue it laying down on the top of the stripped bolt so it is like a "T". When dry, twist that sucker right out. I've also used a dremel with a disc on it to grind a groove across the top. Then an ordinary flathead screwdriver will do the trick.

If the threads are stuck, then a couple tack welds would be required.

Good luck.
