Dusty Mess - help

Finally got to take my jeep into the dirt. My LJ has full hard doors and a soft top. My wife and I had our door windows rolled down and I had the rear window rolled up (the side windows were still in). I could not believe how much dust we had in the cab! It was ridiculous. I have been offroading in the desert for a long time on MUCH dustier trails and I have never got this dusty. The person jeeping with us with no top and only half doors was not ╝ as dusty as we were (and we were leading). My guess is with the back window rolled up, the air flows from the back (most likely from behind the rear tire) to the front and out the door windows. I would have been much better off without the side windows. Am I correct? Anyone else experience this???

I think you are right. Make sure you vacuum all the fabric well, before wiping it all down.

Yep, it happens if you have the rear open and not the front.

When I take my grandpa Jeepin in the dessert same problem but he's fartin dust! LOL j/k....anyway man i wish i could offroad in the dust ...here in the northeast we off road in the mud which is 100000 times harder to get out of the interior than dust. Invest in a descent compressor with blower fittings.
