eBay Seller alljeepparts401 Anyone Dealt With/Bought From Them?

I messaged them about making a deal on a used part that I have been watching and they basically responded in all caps like I was a retard for asking for a better price. I simply said that I had been watching the item and since this was the second month they were listed would they consider lowering the price some. I didn't insult or ask for a steal. Just asked a simple question. I was a little nervous to buy since they seem to average about 10 negatives a month, although I understand the parts biz and how fickle everyone is.

It seems odd that the first thing stated in their ad is "NO RESERVES! I DO NOT DO BUY IT NOWS" and the item I am looking at is a buy it now, with no option to bid.

I have to say 10 negatives a month is a lot. I buy tons of stuff off e-bay and always check their ratings. Now I do realize someone will argue that it isn't a lot when compared to the volume of their customers, but again, its just my opinion.

Smitty03,

I am an eBay seller for a pawn shop chain for a living hahaa. I agree with you! I do however love to buy auto parts and such and I don't understand being a hard-a$$ when it comes to knocking a few bucks off a used part.

LOL. I've been in that same situation. It must be my fault. I alway think "Hey dude..you haven't sold this for 3 months..knock a couple off..or free shipping..and I'll take it.". And you get "Hey buttwipe...I'm not going to lower the price.". Ok. Let it sit there and rot then. Some of these guys must have access to a huge warehouse..because with the space I have..if someone wants to buy..we can make a deal.

I just bought a throttle body from them a few weeks back. It arrived ceased shut. I emailed them about taking it back and they gave me no problems. I sent them back the part two days ago. They should be getting it today. We'll see if they refund me as promised.

I have used them before back in June of 10. I think it was for a new gas tank filler bezel and something else. They were ok. Decent on the price for something I could not find locally.
I had seen that on an auction of theirs for D35 disc conversion. They had a few others under auction but wanted $175 + $43 for shipping. I went to my local boneyard and pulled the entire thing with brand new pads in the calipers, brake lines, ebrake cable, and rotors for $65.
