I used to wave to all jeeps, now I've noticed only the jacked up rigs wave back. Also no women waves back at me, mostly only the men do the waving

I always wave no matter the year Jeep. I've noticed I don't get near as many wave backs in the winter. When I'm riding with the top down & doors off during the summer then everybody waves. Think everyone is just happier when they're topless!

Went to get a coffee today and had a tj pull in behind me at the drivethrough. I paid for their order. Anyone else done this or had it done to them?

I do the jeep wave to everyone but usually I don't get a wave back from the bone stock jeepers or some women not to be prejudiced but that's how it goes. I think the dealers Should teach people the jeep wave. One or two fingers up. Doesn't matter. Or as I do sometimes I stick my arm out the window and wave!

I waved at a guy in a Wrangler Unlimited today in a parking lot. No wave back until I clicked my key and my lights came on, thus showing that I also had one. Then he smiled and waved back. Pretty cool.

I'm on my bike a lot so the wave is normal for me, but now that I bought my stock unpretentious TJ and driving around Beverly Hills no one waves back. Mostly JKs and other cars that cost more than homes. Wave anyway.

A friend of my Dad's who owned a Jeep told me about the wave when we were discussing buying one. So I knew before we actually bought the Jeep. I probably wouldn't notice if he didn't tell me that because no one down here initiates the wave. I have noticed a lot of other Jeepers checking out my Jeep while driving around though. So I just wave anyway. Hopefully, they'll catch on.
