I think these shirts should come with Jeeps to inform the newcomers. In my small city only the other lifted jeeps and older ones wave back. Im in a JK and i wave every time. When my friends are in the car they are always asking how i know all of these people and i just tell them that its a jeep thing, but they don't understand.

That's one thing I love about my soft top & half doors. I can get the true convertible look & feel without leaving anything in the garage. Really handy when there's a chance of rain. Of course I've also took the doors off when there was "0%" chance of rain & got soaked! Lol

Tell them it was some kind of wierd underground sex party. They'll either respect you for it or think you're creepy.

It seems like I'm one of the only jeepers to wave around here now. But just wait for the weather to warm up and the tips and doors coming off! I stay topless just about all summer cause its so hot.

I've had my JK for a couple of weeks now, being in the cold country and in winter is a bit hard to keep the windows down (I know that affects my Jeep score). I've been flashing my lights , but so far get no response, they're not even looking (how can you miss a Jeep??? ). The day I got my Jeep, I flash to a TJ in another city and the guy made a V sign, that was my first "wave" and I was happy as hell. Since then, not even a single one. I guess I'll start doing a real wave now to see what happens.

When I see someone flash their lights I think slow down... Usually means there's a cop sitting waiting to give someone a ticket! I wave at all other Jeepers anyway tho

Get over yourself. Suburbans aren't convertible, why would I want one?

Maybe I'm a soccer mom. I read your post just fine, but you're making snap judgements that are off base and ridiculous. I see all types of people wave and I see the same types of people not wave. It has nothing to do with who they are or what they do. Owning a Jeep doesn't mean you have to go off road. Stop judging and just enjoy. If someone doesn't return a wave, maybe they didn't see you. Maybe they were busy doing something else. Maybe they don't care about waving. In any case, who cares? Just enjoy your ride and smile.

I had a guy not wave at me yesterday and I was angered. Having no arms is not a good excuse...

I will forever add this to my line of excuses. "Maybe he had no arms and it is hard enough to drive and shift with just his feet that he couldn't acknowledge you!"

I got a JK 4 door and I wave to all the Jeeps, many don't wave back. My point is that someone said that the JK Jeepers didn't wave but some do so pay attention to them too.

I thought the wave was just a myth. Now I feel bad for not returning it. I figured they were mistaking me for someone else.

Ya, I had a bike before my jeep so i am used to the wave... unfortunately I feel like I got more wave backs on the bike than the Jeep, Unless is was a Harley of course.
