I just got my first wave the other day! I was shocked, I didn't think "the wave" was a real thing, (this is my first Jeep) thankfully, I was able to get a quick wave in back. It made my day

On the way home from work I passed a Sport and the guy almost broke his hand sticking it out the window to wave. Then a new JK pulled along side me and did not ever look over then I noticed a Jeep just a few cars ahead, we were all in the same stop light and felt like we were a club going out. In hind sight I should have yelled over to the JK and gave her a clue but, she looked like she would have gotten scared? LOL Have a great rest of the night Yall

I hate when you wave and you dont get one back...
YOU dont wave YOU dont drive a jeep.

I bought my first jeep 3 days ago, and had no clue there exists a "jeep wave".

I'm impressed with their diligence; I've gotten more waves while driving the last 3 days than I had the last 3 years.

Just got my first Jeep and didn't know about the wave. Figured it out pretty quick when the first 2 Wranglers I passed on the way home from the dealership waved! Girlfriend thinks I'm a moron but, hell, I love it! The Jeep treats me better than she does anyways...

I have a lot of roads by me with a median splitting opposite directions? Is the wave a stuck at a light with another jeep thing too or no?

I have had my Jeep for almost a year. I always wave but I know which ones don't wave back as I take same way to work and back. What makes me mad is when my husband drives my Jeep and refuses to wave. He thinks we are crazy for waving.

I always wave and I don't care what type of wrangler it is. And when my wife drives the jeep she waves too. At first she thought it was silly. But now it a challenge to her to spot the new t jeep and get that wave in! Makes me smile to hear her wave stories.

Maybe it's all in the technique...
Just wait til you get stuck and the only people there to help are in FJs and Hummers, and recognize you.......

Do you really think FJs or Hummers can get anywhere that would get a Jeep stuck? Lol

I was amazed as well. Just bought my first Wrangler last month. I kept getting "waves" and figured it was a "Jeep Thing." I'm proud to be in The Club!

They might get within 50 feet of it. Close enough to pull you out. Lol

I went mudding today and while at the car wash power washing the jeep, two little boys kept peeking around the corner looking at me. They came up to me and said my jeep is so cool. All I could do was smile and say thanks! They were so cute and hopefully have a place in their hearts for jeeps now!!

I find it's mostly women who are clueless about "jeepers", just chatting away on their cell phones. This should make a few mad. LOL It's the same with Miata's when we use to wink back a forth with the hidden headlights but the vehicle became too popular with the common person instead of the enthusiasts so it went away. I doubt the real jeepers will quit waving but we will get diluted. I'll wave. Just look for the gloss black Sahara maxed out with Hazard International in gold. Heck... stop me & I'll buy the beers!

Your Jeep will always love you, won't spend your money, or cheat on you either. LOL
