engine swap... XJ to YJ

i'm looking at buying an engine from a guy about 90 miles away from me. its a 4.0-HO with computer and all drive accesories. the engine is in a 91' xj. i'm looking at putting it into a 91 YJ. my question is pretty simple. is this a striaght swap or will i need to do some fab work? if so, what all will need to be done?

this thread was an xj motor into yj, it isn't that complicated, but if you have the patience to read through, you'll see a couple hurdles.

actually though, if you already have the 4.0 you're basically on easy street, i think it bolts right in. you cold reuse all your original wiring and sensors and not change anything but the block and head

Something about a bearing. Throwout? It was 3 years since a 94 XJ 4.0engine went into my 93 YJ originally with a 4.0. Something off the YJ 4.O had to be put on the XJ engine. Did not notice the difference until we tried the bolt it in. I can call my friend and pick his brain to be sure if needed.
