exhaust rattle

I've been having trouble trying to get rid of the rattle sounds like Ira coming from my cat. I've checked the flange and tightened it down etc can't figure our what it is...any thoughts?

It could be internal - inside the cat itself. The baffles could be rusted/breaking down or come loose.

Then ya, it's probably junked up/clogged or the baffles are coming loose. I'm surprised it's not throwing any codes...

I'm also surprised they're so expensive new, I looked it up and my eyes about fell out of their sockets...

Maybe a muffler shop could help you out?
