expanded wheel stance

I really want to widen the stance on my 2006 rubicon. I need some advice on the best way to do it and some stuff I need!

I went with wider tires 315/75r16 and 16x8.5 wheels with backspace of 4.5"

Then I assume you back spacing is good then. Outside of spacers (which I advice against) I'm not sure what else you could do.

swap axles to something with a wider WMS.
