Extra panels

Ok... Either my searching skills have failed me or this question has not been asked before. I tend to lean towards the first situation personally.

I was wondering if there was somewhere that sells aftermarket switch panels that fit into the area where the ashtray is? I no longer smoke, and would like the option of having more than three switches in the future. Thanks!!

You may want to find the switch panel from an 02 or 03 (I think, I asked a seller on ebay about one they use in their ad and she thought it was from an 03). The ashtray area is a blank and it has spots for 3 switches and the lighter. Blank part can be used for more switches or power outlet.

This link was provided to me by an ebay seller of switches, no panels. The one you probably want is the 2003-06 or you can get a mathcing one for the 97-02 and mod it to fit the ashtray opening.

I can tell you I would look around the junkyards near you for that off chance or a wrecked TJ.. $60 is way too much for a panel.
