Once we get ourselves settled back home in WA, my plan is to take my TJ keys away from my 17 year old son and replace them with a set of keys for his own Wrangler.
That got me to thinking and wondering, are how many parent/child Wrangler owners are out there? There are a plethora of husband and wife teams out there but what about other relationships?
Does mother & son count? Does it matter that I got mine before my mother? I still can't convince her to take the doors off though...something about being afraid of falling out.....
We're new TJ owners. My son gets his permit in April '14, license April '15...We picked up the jeep for me to drive until he gets his actual license(less wear and tear on my diesel rig). We'll work on it and wheel it as a father/son project and if his grades stay up and he can handle a little job to help towards gas/insurance next year then it'll be his "get to school" rig and wheeling on the weekends. By that time I'm likely to have another one.
